His horse rushed on to that fortress and he went to his wives straight without looking.

"That's Ismail's shouting!", the three wives ran outside.

Ismail married the three wives and three days in a row celebrated his marriage.

Not telling him anything, the clever brother went into the mullah's shed, killed a goat and burried it in the manure there and took out the mullah's wife from there and burried her in another place.

Умный брат ничего не сказал ему, залез в хлев муллы, убил одну козу и закопал там в навозе. А жену муллы похоронил в другом месте.

The mullah asked him: "You haven't seen my wife, have you?"

Мулла спросил его: «Ты не видел мою жену?»

He said: "I have indeed killed your wife and burried her in the manure in the shed.", and the mullah led the stupid brother to show him the place where he burried his wife.

Он сказал: «Я твою жену убил и закопал в навозе». Мулла взял глупца, чтобы тот показал ему место, где закопана его жена.

The clever one asked: "Lo and behold, mullah, did your wife have a tail?"

Умный спросил: «Эх-эх, мулла, твоя жена была с хвостом что ли?»

This time the clever one asked the mullah: "Did your wife have horns?"

На этот раз мудрец спросил у муллы: «У твоей жены рога были?»

"And I had believed in that fool!", said the mullah, got up from there and went away to search for his wife in another place.

«Я тоже поверил этому глупцу», - сказав так, мулла встал и пошел искать жену в другом месте.

Then the old man said: "Now you need to have a faithful wife, the time has come to go after her!

"You will have a quarrel with your wife." said the merchants.

Then the merchants decided among themselves: "In the evening, if your wife makes a scandal, then your fortune will be ours, and when a good wife lets you into the home, all the articles on these three mules shall be yours."

When they came to their village, the merchants let the husband to his wife, but themselves waited listening at their door.

Afterwards he sold the lambs, built a good house in the middle of the village, married a wife and bought a field to plow.
