13005. Nełƛ’osi baq’ˤu zaman bik’izaƛ’ortow xan exun. ⇫ ¶

Not much time passed since then, until the king died.

13006. Babiya bayru wasimoxor łˤoran esnaza irsi bułirno nazoƛ’no sist’a saħ bayn. ⇫ ¶

According to the father's testament, the three brothers should share the heir and they should receive one Sah each.

По завещанию отца трое братьев распределили между собой наследство и всем досталось по три мерки (сах).

13007. Neł šaharya teł sid xanes kid zown. ⇫ ¶

In that city, one king had a daughter.

В этом городе была дочь у одного царя.

13008. Ža kid yowanƛin esiranix eženi uži ik’inosi, neła nesiq roži neƛaniƛ mesedyos saħ esin. ⇫ ¶

When the older son went to ask if he could marry that girl, she gave him her word for the Sah of gold.

Когда старший сын пошел засватать ее, она спрашивала с него мерку (сах) золота, чтобы дать ему слово (согласие) выйти за него.

13009. Ža nełqor biqinosi, xanez kidbä nesi žax yik’anix inkar bodin. ⇫ ¶

After he got it for her, the princess refused to go to this boy.

И когда она получила ее, девушка отказалась выйти за это сына.

13010. Howži šebitow radi, šebitow räs diƛin, rok’ƛ’or pikrun bayn ža uži dunyalqo ik’in. ⇫ ¶

"What shall I do now, what shall I take?", so the boy got the idea to go through the world.

Затем к этой царевне пошел засватать средний брат, стань моей женой мол.

13012. Nesiqorno hemedurtow, mesedyos saħ neƛnäy nexanƛin, eƛin. ⇫ ¶

And she said to him as well: "If you give me your Sah of gold, I will come."

Ему тоже также сказала, что выйдет, если тот даст ему мерка золота.

13013. Mesedyos saħno bižin ža uži nełqay roži riqira ik’in. ⇫ ¶

Carrying the Sah of gold, the boy went to take her word (hand).

С меркой золота тот юноша пошел получать от нее слово (руки).

13014. Mesed biqinosi, xanez kidbä nesix yik’anix razi yoqinč’ey žan oxirno. ⇫ ¶

After getting the gold, the princess didn't agree and chased him away.

После того, как получила золото, царевна не дала согласие выйти за него и его прогнала,

13015. Ži payda anuƛin, žan dunyalqo ik’in. ⇫ ¶

"Now, that was useless!", he said and also went through the world.

теперь, все бесполезно мол, он тоже пошел по свету.

13016. Xizyogon eɣeni esiw ik’in, däx barułun horoƛin, howžatow xanes kidno esirno. ⇫ ¶

Then the younger brother went and asked that princess: "Be my wife!"

Потом еще младший брат пошел засватать ту же самую царевну, стань моей женой мол.

13017. Nesiqorno nexanƛin eƛin, mesedyos saħ neƛnäy. ⇫ ¶

"I will come," she said also to him, "when you give me a Sah of gold."

Ему тоже также сказала, выйду, если дашь мерку золота.

13018. Žan bižin nesä nełar teƛno. ⇫ ¶

And he carried it and then gave it to her.

Он отнес и отдал это ей.

13019. Xanez kidbä mesed biqinosi, oxirno eɣenin esiw. ⇫ ¶

When the princess got the gold, she chased also the youngest brother away.

Как только царевна получила золото, прогнала младшего тоже брата.

13020. Šebitow hoboy radiƛin, ža uži mekoyx, oč’iłxo ičäsi zown. ⇫ ¶

"What shall I do now?", the boy said and remained hungry and freezing.

Что же теперь я буду делать мол, тот юноша переживал голод и холод.

13021. Zamanałäy babiya nesiqor badiru wasiyat eɣeni esiwz rok’ƛ’or bayn: ⇫ ¶

After a while, the younger brother remembered his father's legacy:

13022. Ɣˤutkazoni imyoq ħobon bok’no rok’er rätiru šebin harizi roynäy roqxosi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

"If you kick a pole in the house and ask for what your heart desires, it will become true."

если пинать ногой столб, который находится дома, и просить его, то сбудутся все желания.

13023. Izin užä neł imyoq ħobo bok’nosi, nazay eƛa riynč’ey reƛ’iqoy rˤoƛ’un. ⇫ ¶

When he got up and kicked the pole, a glove fell down he didn't know from where.

Когда юноша встал и ударил ногой столб, откуда неизвестно упала перчатка.

13024. “Yedugon łinarey rˤoƛ’us? ⇫ ¶

And why the heck has this fallen down?

А это зачем упала.

13025. Ričas ži babiya bayru wasimoƛ’ req’unƛin”, - eƛin uži reƛ’iqoyä tełer ezunosi, magalazaƛ’ rayzaƛ’or, elo teł anuru šebintow zown anu. ⇫ ¶

"May it be according to my father's testament, now.", said the boy and when he looked inside the glove, and it was nothing inside except for bread.

Но пусть будет согласно завещанию отца, сказал юноша и посмотрел в перчатку, а там чего только не было вплоть до хлеба.

13026. Yeda ʕuraw ɣˤaɣˤun izin, hoboy ik’an di xanes kid esiranixƛin, oqno maħor. ⇫ ¶

He got very happy, said: "Now I will go to the princess and ask her [to marry me].", and he went outside.

Он очень обрадовался и вышел, теперь пойду я мол царевну просить (засватать).

13027. Ik’in nełaq reƛ’iqoy rukarnosi, didiw ža yałru sosisi riynč’ey neła eƛin: ⇫ ¶

13029. “Ruysi reƛ’iqoybi resʷa behila mežzoxƛin, - eƛin žoyä, - amma endiw däzoq’aw anu žeduƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"One might perhaps find simple gloves at your's," the boy said, "but they're not like the one I have."

Простые рукавицы, возможно, имеются у вас, но они не такие подобных моим.

13030. “Ža debi reƛ’iqoy bat’iyawtowä riča rayx? ⇫ ¶

"So is this glove of yours [not] like the others?

Эти твои рукавицы бесподобные что ли,

13031. Hay yezanix neƛ daqorƛin”, - eƛin kidbä. ⇫ ¶

So then give it to me so I can have a look!", said the girl.

13032. Žoyä yezanixƛin kidbeqor reƛ’iqoy teƛno. ⇫ ¶

The boy gave the glove to the girl, so that she could have a look.

She took it and looked inside, and when she saw many different things there, the girl took the glove away and didn't want to gave it back anymore.

13034. Hoboygon žar ʕoƛnontow čara bexun. ⇫ ¶

Now the boy totally ran out of possibilities.

Теперь обратно юноша впал в отчаяние.

13035. Hemedur q’ʷaridno oqno ičin zawru yeda, babiya nesiqor boyn zawruni wasiyat rok’ƛ’or bayn. ⇫ ¶

So, being so sad, he recalled the legacy handed down to him by his father.

13038. Ričas ži babiya bayru wasimoxorƛin”, - eƛin užä. ⇫ ¶

Now father's will will be fulfilled.

но пусть будет согласно завещанию отца, сказал юноша.

13039. Izin neł t’asmar kakičurin royn, elosi łi maħor čˤaƛin. ⇫ ¶

He got up to that bowl, did his ablution, and poured the water out again.

Встал, сделал омовение в тазик, воду на улицу вылил,

13040. Ža łi micxiryoƛ’or rutin. ⇫ ¶

And this water turned into money/jewelry.

а эта вода превратилась в драгоценности.

13041. Howžigonä ža däx nexxanuƛin, t’asno bižin ik’in yisi užä ža xanez kidbeq bukarno. ⇫ ¶

"Well, shouldn't she come to me now?", the boy carried the washbowl to the princess and showed it to her.

Теперь тоже что-ли она не выходит за меня замуж мол, с тазиком пошел юноша и показал царевне.

13042. Neła eƛin: ⇫ ¶

"We have ten of such washbowls."

таких тазиков у нас десять найдется.

13044. “Dey biłe bäsunč’i mežzoxosin t’asƛin!”, - eƛin užä. ⇫ ¶

The washbowls that you have are not like mine.

Как у меня нет, наверное, тазик, который находится у вас.

13045. “Debi didiw yoł ža huduƛin?”, - esirno kidbä. ⇫ ¶

"So how is this one of yours?", asked the girl.

А какой он у тебя, спросила девушка.

13046. “Yiła t’asma łin et’no q’ˤidaɣor čˤaƛinäy, ža łi micxiryoƛ’or rutixosiƛin”, - esin žoyä. ⇫ ¶

"If one pours water into this bowl and pours it out again, this water turns into money/jewelry", the boy told.

Если налить воду в тазик и вылить, то она превращается в драгоценности мол, рассказал юноша.

13047. “Nedur, ža t’as mi där neƛnäy nexan debex diƛin”, - eƛin xanes kidbä. ⇫ ¶

"So, if you give me this washbowl, I will come to you.", said the princess.

В таком случае, если ты даешь мне этот тазик, я за тебя выйду, сказала царевна.

13048. Aƛ’irno nesiqay žan boɣno, roži teƛinč’ey xizor oxirno. ⇫ ¶

She cheated and took it away from him, not keeping her word, and chased him back.

Она у него выманила его (тазика) и обратно выгнала, не дав слова.

13049. Šebitow di žigon rodanƛin, uži wˤałer q’ˤimno rˤoƛ’urno oqno iduɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

"And what shall I do now?", the boy hang his head and went home.

Что же теперь я буду делать мол, юноша с опушенной головой пошел домой.

13050. Hemedurtow imyoq ħobo bok’nosi, pandur bˤoƛ’un bayn. ⇫ ¶

So he kicked the pole again, and a lute fell down.

Также пошел он домой и когда ударил ногой столб, упал пандур (музинструмент).

13051. “Yedugon łinarey bˤoƛ’usƛin? - eƛin žoyä - ži bičas babiwz wasimoƛ’ req’unƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"Why the heck has this fallen down?", said the boy, "Now my father's will will be fulfilled."

А это зачем упал, но пусть будет согласно завещанию отца мол, сказал юноша.

13052. Hemedur yeda zawzay, pandurya tełäzay q’ˤanoquno oc’ino łelaw, q’ˤanoquno oc’ino guluƛ’no zown saldatbi boƛixno. ⇫ ¶

When he was like this, 50 soldiers by foot and 50 soldiers on horses appeared out of the lute.

Когда он находился в таком состоянии, из пандура появляются пятьдесят пеших солдат, пятьдесят на коне.

13053. Maħor boqno łiyzaƛ’ortow, nesä žedu tełxorno biħurno žigon oqno ik’in xanez kidbeq pandur bukaranix. ⇫ ¶

Before all of them could get outside, he instructed them to go back inside and once again went to the princess to show her the lute.

Не успели они выйти, он их завел обратно во внутрь, еще раз пошел к царевне, чтобы показать пандур.

13054. K’oƛin ik’in žoyä kidbeq pandur bukarnosi, neła eƛin: ⇫ ¶

They boy ran to the girl and when he showed her the lute, she said:

13055. “Nediwt’a panduryabi elzox šomoƛała besʷanƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"We should have some such lutes."

13056. “Dey biłen bäsu žedu mežzoxosini panduryabiƛin?”, - eƛin žoyä. ⇫ ¶

"Will those lutes of yours be like mine?", said the boy.

Вряд ли эти пандуры, которые находятся у вас, будут подобно моим мол, сказал юноша.

13057. “Hay wele bukarƛin, - eƛin kidbä, - didiw ža debi pandur biča bayxƛin?” ⇫ ¶

"So then demonstrate it", said the girl, "what can this lute of yours do?"

Ну-ка покажи, какой же это твой пандур мол, сказала девушка.

13058. Ža neła äƛirudetow sadaq žoyä pandurya tełäzay q’ˤanoquno oc’ino łelaw, hemecetowgon guluƛ’ zowäsi saldatbi boƛik’no. ⇫ ¶

As soon as the girl and the boy were saying this, 50 soldiers on foot and as many on horses appeared from inside the lute.

Как только она это сказала, из пандура вылезли пятьдесят пеших солдат, столько же и на коне.

13059. Xizyo žeda eƛin: ⇫ ¶

Afterwards, they said:

13062. “Mežuqay dar žäd ħažataw šebin anuƛin, - eƛin žoyä, - meži hoboy tełxor biħuƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"There's still nothing necessary from you for me", said the boy, "go back inside again, now!"

От вас для меня пока ничего не нужно, теперь вы можете обратно зайти мол, сказал юноша.

13063. Nasin saldatbi tełxor biħu-bičin. ⇫ ¶

All the soldiers went back inside.

Все солдаты вернулись обратно.

13064. Xanes kid ħayran yoqno ƛexun neła eƛin: ⇫ ¶

The princess stood there in surprise and said:

13065. “Žigoƛ’ay nexan debex di mi där howda pandur neƛnäyƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"Now I will come to you, if you give me that lute of yours."

на этот раз я выйду я за тебя, если ты дашь мне этот пандур.

13066. “Neƛxanuƛin, - eƛin žoyä nełqor, - adäyt’an aƛ’irsi mi diƛin”. ⇫ ¶

"I don't give it to you," said the boy, "you have cheated me before several times."

Не дам, сказал ей юноша, прежде тоже ты меня обманывала.

13067. Nexanƛin yigtow yedu kid ƛ’iri yutinosi, žoyä pandur teƛno ičin yiłar. ⇫ ¶

"I will come", the girl insisted very much, and the boy gave her the lute.

Девушка упорно настаивала, что мол выйду за тебя и юноша отдал пандур.

13068. Žan biqirno yisiqay, xanez kidbä uži oxerno. ⇫ ¶

The princess took it away from him and then made him run away.

Схватила у него пандур и царевна выгнала юношу.

13069. Užir łinasnotow čaran bexun, ži ik’ix di dunyalqoƛin, eƛin oqno ik’in elay sida baydanƛ’or ayn. ⇫ ¶

Now that all the possibilities are gone for the boy, he said "I shall wander through the world now", and began to go away until he came to a field.

Юноша впал в отчаяние, теперь-то пойду, мол, я по свету, пошел он оттуда дальше и дошел до одного поля.

13071. Baydanyay dahaw bitay riłe nesir henešyos ɣun rukayn. ⇫ ¶

A little further away in the field, he saw and apple tree.

13072. Nełaq sida puƛ’aza aluk’at’a, sida puƛ’aza c’udat’a henešyabi zown. ⇫ ¶

On one side it had white apples, and on the other side red apples.

На ней были на одной стороне белые яблоки, а в другой красные.

13073. Elay mekoyx yałru yisä bet’urno neł ɣunoqay c’udani heneš bac’nosi, nesiłäy ɣun roqno. ⇫ ¶

Then, he - being hungry - plucked a red apple from that tree and ate it, he became a tree.

Потом, голодный он сорвал от этого дерева красное яблоко, и он превратился в дерево.

13074. “Allah šebitow roqä yedu där? ⇫ ¶

"Allah, what the heck has happened to me?

13075. Hoboy di šebi rodanƛin?”, - eƛin nesä bet’urno aluk’anigon heneš bac’nosi, yeda yałru insanƛ’or utin. ⇫ ¶

What shall I do now?", he said, plucked a white apple this time, ate it and turned into the human that he was.

13076. Rigutow rigu hoboyƛin, rok’ƛ’orno rayn žoyä ɣunoqosi aluk’anin, c’udanin henešno but’in oqno xanzo kidbedäɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

"Very well, now.", thought the boy, plucked a white and a red apple from the tree and went to the princess.

Очень хорошо теперь мол, подумал юноша, сорвал белые и красные яблоки на дереве и пошел к царевне.

13077. Nełaq ža heneš bukarnosi, esirno žaq: ⇫ ¶

When he showed her this apple, she asked the boy:

The boy hesitated at first and pretended not be willing to give her the apple.
