The eldest son took the jug from the merchant.

The middle son found a burka on sale on the market.

He got happy and bought the burka from the market.

The younger brother saw a mirror for sale at the market and asked the merchant:

Having bought the things for the 3 roubles each, that the girl gave to them, they thought about going (back?) to the village.

They came to a spring; and when they barely sat down and ate, the mirror fell from the younger brother's arms.

And when they looked at the mirror, after taking it up from below, it showed the girl that they had asked out dying.

Before the wink of an eye, they arrived at the girl's; the elder brother filled the clay jug he bought with water, poured it into her mouth and cured her.

Не успели моргнуть глазом - они пришли к этой девушке. А старший брат купленный им кувшин наполнил водой, влил (воду) в рот девушке и она выздоровела.

"If my burka hadn't brought us to you before the wink of an eye, then you would have died."

"What happened?", the wife wanted a clear explanation, so he told her that he didn't find the market and didn't want to bring the lamb back home, so he tied it to a ruin which was on the way and came home.

Жена интересовалась, что же все-таки случилось, он рассказал, что не нашел рынок и, не желая обратно привести, ягненка привязал в развалинах, которых нашел по дороге и вернулся.

The next day, even before it got morning, he went to get the lamb which was tied to the ruin, and the young brother found nothing but bones.

На следующий день, когда не дожидаясь рассвета, он пошел за ягненком, привязанным в развалинах, младший брат ничего там не нашел кроме как костей.

He scattered the stones that were scattered there, and began to demolish the wall, "Why did I let the wolf eat my lamb?"

"Behold, what happened here?", he said, and after going there and putting his hand into the hole, got gold and silver into his hand.

Then they said that if he tied the she-goat to the family's house, we will tie a bull to it.

The elder brothers went, tied two bulls into the ruin and came back home.

The next morning even before dawn, carrying a bag, the two brothers went to get the money out of the ruin.

On the way, when a wolf that was coming towards him wanted to take the prey away from him, the fox said:

"I am carrying this duck to the king of the forest, go get a ram!"

While he went on, he met a bear on the way.

And he also came to take away the duck, so the fox said:

"I'm bringing this to the king of the forest, bring him a bull!"

The fox escaped without any more trouble.

On the second day, the wolf came to the fox's house bringing a ram and the bear came with a bull thrown over his back, a loud voice shouted from the backyard:

Show us the king of the forest now!"

The wolf who ate from the goat hide in the garden between the leaves, the bear climbed up on the crest of a tree.

Short after, the fox sent the cat outside.

The starving cat first went and pounced on to the ram, then clinged to the bull.

So the wolf wanted to have a look at the king, so he pushed his jaws out of the leaves and made a noise; the cat that was about to jump on a mouse jumped on the wolf's jaws.

"He's going to kill me now!", the wolf jumped up and ran away.

None

---

The cat got frightened, ran away and got up a tree.

None

---

"Now he's coming to me!", the bear fell off the tree, got down and ran away quickly.

And now the fox and the cat went to the prey that the wolf and the bear have brought that day.

Once there was a fox sitting under a tree.

Была одна лиса, сидевшая под деревом.

When a crow sat down onto the tree with a piece of meat in its beak, the fox said to him:

"I have never seen such a beautiful bird like you, having the most beautiful voice in the world.

Without thinking much, the crow let its voice caw and the piece of meat fell down out of his mouth.

Долго не думая, ворона начала каркать, и мясо упало с его рта на землю.

The fox then jumped and took it away and ate it, thanked the crow and went on his way.

Лиса быстро проскочила, прихватила мясо, поблагодарила ворону и пошла дальше по своей дороге.

They where living together.

Они жили вместе.

Every day the rooster went into the forest for firewood, and the hen was at home doing the housework.

Петух ежедневно ходил в лес за дровами, курица работала дома, выполняла домашние работы.

The hen had the idea to follow him, when he goes to the forest.

Курица подумала, что буду следить за ним, когда он пойдет в лес.

The next day, the hen secretly followed the rooster into the forest.

На следующий день курица незаметно пошла в лес за петухом.

The rooster went to the river and after shouting "Tsiwliwit!" three times, a frog appeared out of the water, saying "witwish".

Подходя к реке когда петух три раза призывал «цивли-вит», из воды говоря «вит-виш» вынырнула лягушка.

Remembering what they were saying, the hen left them where they where and returned home to do her work.

Запомнив все то, что они сказали, и оставив их между собой там же, курица обратно вернулась домой и приступила делать свою работу.
