с тех пор как она после обеда вышла на улицу, не видели мол.

Then the eldest brother went and nothing happend, so he lowered his head and threw the barrel over.

Потом еще пошел старший брат и когда он не смог что то делать, перевернули бочку.

When they found their dead sister inside, and asked their wives: "What happened here at home?", they rejected: "We don't know anything about this here."

Там внутри нашли мертвую сестру и когда спросили жен о том, что здесь дома происходит мол, те отказались, что мы ничего не знаем мол.

"What happened?", the widow said and went to the grave and took the clothings from the rooster's feet.

Вдова пошла на кладбище, что же мол случилось и убрала с ног петуха одежду.

When they came to the house where she was, the youngest brother became suspicious and asked the girl if she wanted to drink some water.

Пришли домой к ней и подозревая младший брат попросил девушки пить воду.

When they knew they were brother and sister, Umukus told him about everything that happened.

Когда узнали друг друга, что они брат и сестра, Умукус рассказала ему обо всем произошедшем.

She put the bundle down, and the thickest piece of firewood that she threw down, turned into a snake, which didn't stay behind, but followed them.

Поставив на землю охапку, она вытащила самый толстый дров и выбросила, он превратился в змею и не отстав шла за ними.

Not knowing what to do anymore, the mother asked her eldest daughter first, if she would go to the snake; she rejected: "I won't go."; then she talked to the middle daughter, who also disagreed.

Не зная больше что делать, мать спросила старшую дочь, выходишь ли ты за змею мол, когда она отказалась, не выхожу мол, сказала средней и та не согласилась.

From then on, the snake went ahead with the daughter following it, until it came to the snake's house.

Оттуда же дальше, впереди змея за ней девушка отправились в путь в змеиный дом.

When she came to a house somewhere on the long way she was going on, she went inside.

Долго пошла она по этой дороге, дошла до одного дома и зашла вовнутрь.

The girl was surprised and remained looking (at him), "Is this day a dream?"

Удивленная девушка смотрелась, что сегодня я это во сне что ли.

When the eldest daughter asked her mother: "Let me go with her together so I can see her off!", and the mother angrily said: "Why didn't you go when I let you?"

Старшая дочь настырно просила матери, дай мне пойти вместе с ней, чтобы ее провожать, а рассердившая мать сказала, почему не пошла тогда же, когда я тебя отправляла мол.

Старая женщина когда выходила на улицу и до ее возвращения вечером домой, она нашла хорошо сделанные по дому работы и удивилась, кто мол у меня дома в моем отсутствии трудится.

Однажды старая женщина притворялась, что выходит на улицу, и следила.

Она подумала, если я один птенец брошу ей, два останется мне и она бросила лисе птенчик, хотя это было очень тяжело.

The bird became very sad.

Она подумала, если я один птенец брошу ей, один хоть останется мне и она бросила лисе один птенчик, хотя это было очень тяжело.

The bird became even more sad because the fox has eaten two nestlings now.

Птица весьма опечалилась, так как лиса съела два ее птенчика.

At this time, seeing its condition, a crow came to the bird and asked: "Why are you so sad?"

В это время, видя ее состояние, к птице пришла ворона и спросила, ты почему такая грустная мол.

When the young girl saw the three of them, it remained looking [surprised] and asked, where they had come from.

Когда она увидела их троих маленькая девочка посмотрела на них удивленная, откуда мол они сюда попали.

And a big sea formed behind the sisters.

За сестрами образовалось большое море.
