Once upon a time there lived two widows in a village.

58002. Sidas zown sis uži, sidenis ʕoƛno uži zown. ⇫ ¶

One had one son, the other one had seven sons.

У одной был один сын, а у другой было семеро сыновей.

58003. Žedas xexbi sidxo sis bigut’a zown, žedus žiw-žiwes sist’a ziyan zown. ⇫ ¶

Their children were good to one another, and each of them had a cow.

Их дети жили между собой дружно, и у каждого из них была корова.

58004. ʕOƛiran esnaza sistow sis yałruni q’orolaz užiqor eƛin, horo sosi bexayn debez ziys ela reƛ rac’an, xizyo elusno rexayn ħaƛu-bišxo rok’u-ɣʷeymoƛ’ bičanƛin. ⇫ ¶

The seven brothers said to the son of the widow who had only one: "Come, we'll first slaughter your cow and eat its meat, afterwards we'll slaughter our cows and live happily eating and drinking."

Семеро братьев единственному сыну вдовы сказали: «Давай, сначала зарежем и съедим мясо твоей коровы, затем зарежем наших, и будем жить весело».

58005. Sisxolisini q’orolas uži ziya bexadanix razi oqno. ⇫ ¶

The lonely widow's son agreed to slaughter the cow.

Единственный сын вдовы согласился зарезать корову.

58006. Neła ziys reƛno rac’no łiyrno, ħaħno ƛäxuru ƛuzazaq nesis raɣin ric’erno, ʕoƛnon esnabin boqno bik’in, yedan žeda žedudäy et’urno. ⇫ ¶

After they had eaten up that cow's meat, the brothers left his veranda filled with the gnawed bones and left him behind.

Семеро братьев съели мясо той коровы, оставили после себя балкон, забитый обглоданными костями, и ушли, а с ним больше не водились.

58007. Nełas siskin urɣel boynanu bat’iyaw sisxolizoni q’orolaz užä. ⇫ ¶

The son of the other widow who was alone, did not have any sorrow.

Единственный сын вдовы не сильно расстроился из-за этого.

58008. ʕOƛiran esnaza radiru rešonin sidaƛ’or rutirno, ixinno nełas ric’no, žan risno hunix oqno. ⇫ ¶

He gathered the garbage that the seven brothers had produced in one, filled a bag with it and took it on his way.

Он собрал в кучу весь мусор, оставленный братьями, наполнил им мешок и с ним отправился в путь.

58009. Zamanałäza nesił dandir bazarganbi c’oxno hisos urgubi q’urec’niƛ’no erno rižin bik’ix. ⇫ ¶

After a while, he met some merchants carrying sacks with wool on a mule.

Через некоторое время он встретил купцов, которые везли на мулах большие мешки шерсти.

58010. Žedu nexxo bukaynosi, yeda neł ixinoxorno oqno ʕuraw q’ʷaridno oqno ičin. ⇫ ¶

When he saw them coming, he came next to that bag and became very sad.

Когда он их увидел, застыл возле мешка и стоял в большой печали.

58011. Salamno teƛno, bazarganza yisiq esirno, šebi roqno nece q’ʷaridno oqno ƛexasiƛin. ⇫ ¶

The merchants greeted him and asked: "What happened, that you are so sad?"

Купцы поприветствовали его и спросили: «Что случилось, почему ты такой печальный?»

58012. Užä žawab teƛno, wallah howda mesedyos ric’ali ixin riža roqinč’ey urɣelyozał ƛexasi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

The boy answered: "By God, I can't carry this bag filled with gold, [that's why] I'm in sorrow."

Юноша ответил: «Ей богу, не могу отвезти этот мешок, наполненный золотом, поэтому стою тут и думаю, что делать».

58013. Mi nełas rask’i urɣel badinƛin, sida q’urec’niƛ’ ƛ’iri ixin erno, hisos urgubi äruni sideni q’urec’niƛ’ ƛ’iri yeda zowerno. ⇫ ¶

"Don't worry!", they put his bag onto the mule and seated him on the other mule that carried the sacks of wool.

«Ты об этом ничуть не беспокойся», - на одного мула положили мешок, а на мула с мешками шерсти посадили его самого.

58014. Boƛƛo baq’ˤu zaman bik’izaƛ’ortow, ža uži žeduqay et’un. ⇫ ¶

After a while, the boy seperated from them.

Не прошло много времени, как те купцы оставили юношу позади, а сами сбежали.

58015. Yeda yołi hisos urgubi ƛ’iri yałruni q’urec’nin bižin, xizo-q’ˤimer utin iduɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

He, however, lead the mule on which were the sacks of wool and returned to his home.

А он с мулом, груженым мешками шерсти, вернулся домой.

58016. Eniw tamaša yoqno ƛexun, nay ža deber nece his riqäƛin. ⇫ ¶

His mother was astonished: "Where did you get so much wool from?"

Мать удивилась: «Где ты столько шерсти достал?»

58017. Užä eniwq bazarganzał raqru šebin esin. ⇫ ¶

The boy told his mother what had happened about the merchants.

Сын рассказал матери о том, что произошло с ним и купцами.

58018. Bayn ʕoƛiran esnaza esirno, na debi uži yoł, ukayxanuwa yedaƛin. ⇫ ¶

The seven brothers came and asked: "Where is your son? [Why] Didn't we see him?"

Пришли семеро братьев и спросили у матери: «Где твой сын, почему его не видно?»

58019. Eniya eƛin, nagon ža äči, eloš hisołäy tuturłi hok’xo yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

The mother said: "Where could he be; he is pulling out the dirt from the whool over there."

Мать ответила: «Где он еще может быть, там шерсть чистит».

58020. Tełer bik’in bezuzaƛ’, ʕoƛnon esnabi haqa bogun bezun ƛexun. ⇫ ¶

When the seven brothers went inside and took a look, they remained looking with an open mouth.

Семеро братьев зашли внутрь и удивились.

58021. Žeda esirno, nay yedu deber nece raq’ˤu his riqäƛin. ⇫ ¶

They asked: "Where did you get so much wool from?"

Они спросили: «Где ты столько шерсти достал?»

58022. Užä žawab teƛno, meža neła quł däz raɣä režigon raq’ˤu rešoni roys yołi ƛuzabin čˤaƛin, režigon raq’ˤu his räqi där bazaryayƛin. ⇫ ¶

The boy answered: "If you had produced more garbage and threw the bones onto my veranda that day, I would've got much more wool from the market."

Сын ответил: «Если бы вы в тот день оставили еще больше мусора из костей, то я бы на рынке получил еще больше шерсти».

58023. Hobolaytow idurno bik’in žedu esnabi, žeda žedus posun rexayn, nełas reƛno rac’no, xizor ƛäxuru ƛuzazas ixinabin ric’no bazaryaɣor bik’in. ⇫ ¶

From there the brothers went home, slaughtered their cattle, ate its mean and filled bags with the remaining bones and went to the market.

Тут же пошли эти братья домой, зарезали свой скот, съели мясо, а оставшиеся кости собрали и с полными мешками пошли на базар.

58024. Ixinozas hut’bin regirno, elo qˤaƛanada žedu boqno, ƛuza-muk’a risxosi žek’u šebi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

There they opened the bags and began to yell: "Who is the man that buys the bone-leftovers?"

Там они открыли мешки и начали призывать людей: «Нет ли среди вас людей, желающих купить кости?»

58025. Yizä eli inžit bodixƛin, nasin xalq’i ƛ’irin butin, hut’-mˤalä nocu caƛix bazar xecirerno žeduq. ⇫ ¶

"They are disgracing us!", all people insisted and spitting in their faces caused them to leave the market.

«Они нас позорят!» - с такими словами все люди налетели на них и, плюнув им в лицо, заставили их покинуть рынок.

58026. Dahawgon zaman bik’inosi, hemełatown bexayruni ziys ħošin bižin q’orolas uži bazaryaɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

After a little while, the widow's son carried the slaughtered cow's hide to the market.

Через некоторое время сын вдовы пошел на базар со шкурой той же зарезанной коровы.

58027. Yisił dandir nuci teƛxosi bazargan c’oxno. ⇫ ¶

He met a merchant who was selling honey.

Он встретил торговца, который продает мед.

58028. Nesä užiq esirno, yedu ziya teƛxanaƛin. ⇫ ¶

He asked the boy: "Don't you sell that cow?"

Он спросил у юноши: «Не продаешь ли эту коровью шкуру?»

58029. Ax roqace nuci raganix egirno xecinäy neƛanƛin eƛin užä. ⇫ ¶

"If you let me lick a belly-full of honey, I'll give it to you.", said the boy.

«Если дашь мне поесть досыта меду, тогда продам», - сказал юноша.

58030. Bazarganä bisno adäza ħaƛin nucos bic’äsi q’ut’u. ⇫ ¶

The merchant took a jug filled with honey and pushed it in front of him.

Торговец поставил перед ним полный кувшин меда.

58031. Užä ža ragin łiyrxo rukaynosi, bazarganä yeda xizor oxirno. ⇫ ¶

When he saw that the boy was eating it up, the merchant chased him.

Когда увидел, что юноша доедает мед, он его прогнал.

58032. Elaygon bitor ħošin bižin yeda ik’iƛ’oräy, yiside dandir quqäsi reƛ teƛxo bazargan c’oxxo. ⇫ ¶

While he was going on with the hide, he met a merchant who was selling dried meat.

Когда он шел дальше со шкурой, встретил торговца, который продает сушеное мясо.

58033. Nesän hemedurtow esirno užiq, ža ziys ħoši teƛxanaƛin. ⇫ ¶

He asked the boy likewise: "Aren't you going to sell that cow hide?"

Он также спросил у юноши: «Не продаешь ли эту коровью шкуру?»

58034. Ax roqace reƛ rac’a egirno xecinäy, neƛanƛin eƛin užä. ⇫ ¶

"If you let me eat a belly-full of meat, then I'll give it to you.", said the boy.

«Если дашь мне поесть мяса досыта, тогда продам», - сказал юноша.

58035. Bisno bazarganä yisił adäza raħiräsi reƛis ħit’u eqerno. ⇫ ¶

The merchant took a pan of cooked meat and put it before him.

Торговец взял и поставил перед ним сковороду жареного мяса.

58036. Užä ħit’ures iƛ’u nec’irxotow yižix yukaynosi, reƛ teƛxozoni bazarganä ža xizor oxirno. ⇫ ¶

When he saw that the boy was emptying the bottom of the pan, the meat-selling merchant chased him.

Когда увидел, что юноша доедает сковороду мяса, он его прогнал.

58037. Elaygon bitor ik’iƛ’oräy nesi užił sis ɣˤanabi c’oxno. ⇫ ¶

While he went further from there, that boy met a woman.

Пошел юноша дальше и встретил одну женщину.

58038. Mix bik’äsi zamanno boqzaƛ’, yiła ɣˤanaza yeda neła nełdäɣor ƛirbałix ižix. ⇫ ¶

Because some time had passed, that woman let him be her guest.

Время было позднее и та женщина взяла его к себе в гости.

58039. Sida zamanałäza acmoq deqƛin. ⇫ ¶

After a while, it knocked on the door.

Через некоторое время постучались в дверь.

58040. Dey xediw nexxoƛin, yiła yeda sida yeže ɣamasya tełxor uqˤno. ⇫ ¶

"My husband is coming!", she [said and] hid him inside a large box.

«Это мой муж идет», - сказала она и упрятала его в большой сундук.

58041. Ža nuci teƛxo zawruni bazargan zown. ⇫ ¶

It was the merchant who had been selling honey.

А это был купец, который продавал мед.

58042. Dahawtowgon zaman bik’izaƛ’or, xizyogon acmoq deqƛin. ⇫ ¶

After a little while, it knocked on the door again.

Не прошло много времени, опять постучались в дверь.

58043. Dey xediw nexxoƛin yiła yeda nuci teƛxosi bazargan nesi žade puräza ɣamasya teł uqˤno. ⇫ ¶

"My husband is coming!", she [said and] hid that honey-selling merchant in the box next to the boy.

«Это мой муж идет», - сказала она и его тоже упрятала в тот же сундук рядом с юношей.

58044. Oƛixno k’oƛin tełer reƛ teƛxo zawruni bazargan. ⇫ ¶

The merchant who had been selling the meat jumped inside.

Залез внутрь продавец меда.

58045. Nełƛ’osi baq’ˤu zaman bik’izaƛ’ortow, łox äƛirugon acmoq deqƛin. ⇫ ¶

And alot more time after that, it knocked on the door a third time.

После этого не прошло много времени, третий раз постучались в дверь.

58046. Hemedurtow, dey xediw nexxoƛin, reƛ teƛxosini bazarganno yizide sadaq ɣamasya teł uqˤno yiła. ⇫ ¶

Again she said "My husband is coming!", and also hid the meat-selling merchant inside the box together with them.

«Это мой муж идет», - опять сказала она и запрятала вместе с ними и продавца мяса.

58047. Žigoƛ’ay uyn oƛixno k’oƛin nełas xediw. ⇫ ¶

This time her husband jumped in indeed.

На этот раз пришел действительно ее муж.

58048. Iš-utin ža kecanix puƛ’or utinosi, užä eƛin žeduqor, diƛa ik’anƛin yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

When he ate and turned onto his side to sleep, the boy said to them: "I'm going to go."

Когда он наелся и лег спать, юноша сказал им: «Я-то намерен уйти».

58049. Elin dowde sadaq bižoƛin, bazarganbi harizi boqno. ⇫ ¶

"Take us with you, too!", the merchants requested.

Купцы просили его: «Нас тоже забери с собой».

58050. Meži di bižan mežuq yałru kinaw micxir där neƛnäyƛin. ⇫ ¶

"I will take you with me, if you give me all the money you have."

«Я заберу вас с собой, если вы мне отдадите все деньги, которые у вас есть».

58051. Razi boqno žedu nełaƛ’. ⇫ ¶

They agreed on that.

58052. Nuci teƛno bäqirun, reƛ teƛno bäqirun šinaw micxir bazarganza q’orolaz užiqor butirno. ⇫ ¶

The merchants gave all the money they got for selling honey and for selling meat to the widow's son.

Купцы отдали сыну вдовы все деньги, полученные от продажи меда и мяса.

58053. Suƛƛisi oƛixno k’oƛin ɣamasyayn uži oxin maħor ok’ełno, ža iqiranixƛin nesił xizaygon č’ariƛ’ zawruni xediwn k’oƛin. ⇫ ¶

Suddenly the boy jumped out of the box, ran outside and escaped; and in order to catch him ran the husband behind him, who was awake.

Юноша внезапно выскочил из сундука и убежал на улицу, а за ним, чтобы его поймать, побежал муж, который еще не спал.

58054. Xediw maħor ok’äłrungon, ɣamasya tełäy maħorno boqno elay boxin bazarganbin bok’ełno. ⇫ ¶

Right after the husband went outside, the merchants got out of the box and ran away.

Когда муж выскочил на улицу, купцы вышли из сундука и тоже успели убежать.

58055. Yizi xʷasar badiruni užin neła ɣˤanazaz xediwq iqinanu. ⇫ ¶

The boy who rescued them was not caught by the woman's huband.

Муж той женщины не смог поймать юношу, который таким образом спас их.

58056. Elay bitor ok’ełnosi, boɣno ziyas ħošin kurno, oqno iduɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

When he had escaped from there, he threw the cow's hide away and went home.

После того, как ушел оттуда, он выбросил коровью шкуру и пошел домой.

58057. Eniw yežigon ħayran yoqno, nece baq’ˤu micxirno bayrno uži idur ayzaƛ’. ⇫ ¶

His mother was even more astonished, because her son had brought so much money home.

Мать еще более удивилась, когда сын пришел с такими большими деньгами.

58058. Xizyogon bayn žedu ʕoƛiran esnaza nełaq esirno, ya le q’orolay, debi užitowwa ukayxanu, na yoł žaƛin. ⇫ ¶

Then came the seven brothers and asked her: "Well, hey widow, we don't see your son, where is he?"

Потом опять пришли эти семеро братьев спросили у нее: «Эй вдова, почему не видно твоего сына, где он находится?»

58059. Neła eƛin, dey uži eloš neła ɣˤutka teł micxir t’et’erxo ičäsi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

She said: "My son is counting money in that room over there."

Она ответила: «Мой сын считает деньги вот в той комнате».

58060. Tełerno bik’in bezunosi, esnazar ža micxiryos šemno bodin t’et’erxo esun. ⇫ ¶

When they went inside and looked, the brothers found him making piles of money and counting it.

Когда братья зашли туда, увидели, как он разбирает кучу денег.

58061. Hoboy ħayran boqno ƛexun žedu esnabi, tamaša boqno, nesiq nece baq’ˤu micxirno bukayn yizis tatutown bitin, nay yedu micxir biqäƛin esiriłinč’ey bičiłnoanu yizirabi. ⇫ ¶
