It's said that in some place there lived a father and his son.

В одном селе жили отец и сын.

59002. Žaq oč’ino ƛˤeb yaynosi, babiwz rok’ƛ’or rayn, ʕarab ʕilmu t’et’ra ižanƛin. ⇫ ¶

When the son became nine years old, the father had an idea: "I will send him to learn the Arabian science."

Когда сыну исполнилось девять лет, отец решил отправить его изучать арабскую науку.

59003. Sida quł yizi hunix boqno sidaɣ yeže gogaƛ’or baynƛax. ⇫ ¶

One day, they went on their way and came to a big meadow somewhere.

Они отправились в путь и пришли на одно большое поле.

59004. Elo yoƛi gogaƛ’ Okuƛin eƛixosi žek’u maħor oƛixno ičin. ⇫ ¶

There in the middle of the meadow, a man appeared who called himself Oku.

Там в центре поля вдруг появился человек по имени Оку.

59005. Assalamu ʕalaykumƛin salamno teƛno, babiwderno, žaderno dandirno nexno nesä esirno, meža sapar naɣor bicäsi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

"Peace be with you!", he greeted and came with the father and his son and asked: "Where are you heading?"

«Ассалам алайкум», - приветствовал он отца и сына, подошел к ним и спросил: «Куда вы решили направиться?»

59006. Babiya eƛin, wallah, howda uži ʕarab ʕilmu t’et’ranix ižixƛin. ⇫ ¶

The father said: "By God, I am leading my son here to learn the Arabic science."

Отец сказал: «Ей богу, этого сына везу изучать арабскую науку».

59007. Oka eƛin, däde sadaq egirno xec yeda debi uži, xizyo ƛˤebaq ƛˤeb ħišiłnosi, hobołatow mečoƛ’or horo mi yisił xizayƛin. ⇫ ¶

Oku said: "Send your son together with me, and when the year after next year is over, come to this very field and follow him."

Оку сказал: «Отправь со мной своего сына и через год приходи на то же место за ним».

59008. Babiya uži Okude sadaq egirno xecin. ⇫ ¶

The father sent his son together with Oku.

Отец отправил сына с Оку.

59009. Hemeł mixƛ’o, yoƛi gogan č’ˤaƛiłno, ozuri buqin baɣˤizaƛ’or, Okun, užin wˤałzoni dunyalƛ’aɣor bok’ełno. ⇫ ¶

After that, the middle of the meadow opened, and in the wink of an eye, Oku and his son had gone into the underworld.

В этот момент разверзлось поле, и Оку с мальчиком, не успев моргнуть глазом, очутились в нижнем свете.

59010. Žas babiw xizo-q’ˤimer utin iduɣortow nexno. ⇫ ¶

The boy's father went back home.

А отец мальчика вернулся домой.

59011. Wˤałzoni dunyalƛ’or aynosi, užir elo Okus bercinaw kid yesun. ⇫ ¶

When he came into the underworld, the boy found Oku's beautiful daughter there.

Когда попали в нижний свет, мальчик увидел там, у Оку, красивую дочь.

59012. Howži Oka nesiq ʕarab ʕilmu mołix zown. ⇫ ¶

Now Oku was teaching him the Arabic language.

А Оку обучал его арабской науке.

59013. Babiw idu anunč’izay, igorno yayn, Okuz kidbä nesiqor eƛin, were mi dicegon yaq’ˤu ʕilmu deber yiqiłin, mi siskin šebin riyxanuƛin iča ay. ⇫ ¶

While her father wasn't at home, Oku's daughter came nearer and said to him: "Well, no matter how much science you will get, you must say that you don't know anything!"

Когда отца не было дома, дочь Оку подошла к нему и сказала: «Смотри, сколько бы ты ни учился, ты должен говорить, что ничего не знаешь».

59014. Šidaƛin, ħayran oqno ƛexun uži. ⇫ ¶

"Why?", the boy was astonished.

«Почему?» - удивился мальчик.

59015. Šida yałru debertow räyƛin, kidbä uži ezuranix bitazoni ɣˤutkaɣor ižin. ⇫ ¶

"You will know why", the girl [said and] lead the boy into the next room to show him.

«Почему, сам увидишь», - девушка повела мальчика в другую комнату и показала ее.

59016. Reɣet’a ƛuzazas ric’äsi ɣutkutow rukayn elo yisir. ⇫ ¶

There he saw that the room was filled with small bones.

Он увидел, что комната полна маленьких костей.

59017. Kidbä eƛin, ʕilmu yiyxosi nasin babiya bexurxosi, ele hemedurt’a bexaruzas ƛuzabi yoł yiziƛin. ⇫ ¶

The girl said: "My father kills all who know about science, these here are the bones of the thus killed."

Девушка сказала: «Отец убивает всех, кто постигает науку, вот это и есть кости тех, кто был убит по этой причине».

59018. Hemełƛ’ay soder uži där siskin šebin riyxanuƛin ičix zown. ⇫ ¶

After that, the boy was always like: "I don't know anything."

С тех пор мальчик упорно повторял: «Я ничего не знаю».

59019. Mi didiwtow siskin šebin riyxanusi uži iča ayxƛin, Oku aƛ’in nesiqor. ⇫ ¶

"What kind of boy must you be, who doesn't know anything.", spoke Oku.

Оку ругал его: «Что же ты за мальчик, который ничего не знает».

59020. Huday ƛˤeba waħazoni dunyalƛ’azay hemełatow gogaƛ’or užin ižin Oku ik’inosi, elo yiziqor ezun ičäsi žas babiw esun. ⇫ ¶

In the following year, when Oku went with the boy from the world below onto the same meadow, they found the boy's father there who was waiting and looking for them.

В следующем году, когда Оку отправился с мальчиком из нижнего мира на то же поле, они встретили отца мальчика, который ждал их.

59021. Debez yisi ʕantawni užä mołin ʕilmu yisinč’u, debi mi uži xizor ižoƛinno eƛin, Oku ozƛäyn gugin hoq’ˤoni dunyalƛ’aɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

"This stupid son of yours didn't get anything of the science I tought him, take your son back!", said Oku, escaped from the eyes and went into the other world.

«Этот твой дурной сын не научился науке, забери своего сына», - сказал Оку, исчез с глаз и пошел в другой мир.

59022. Hudu t’ok’ow šebi rodanƛin, užin ižin babiw iduɣor ik’ix zown. ⇫ ¶

"So what more shall I do?", the father [said and] lead the boy home.

«Что же я могу еще сделать?» - отец забрал сына и пошел домой.

59023. Daha-maq’aw huni xecinosi, užä babiwqor eƛin, mi ader oq, di debeł xiz-xizyo iłe nexanƛin. ⇫ ¶

After they had gone a bit of way, the boy said to the father: "Go ahead, I will come after you."

Прошли немного по дороге, и сын сказал отцу: «Ты иди вперед, а я пойду за тобой».

59024. Babiwde puħay ok’äłruntow, užiłäy sis ixiw miƛ’in boqno, babiwł ad-adäza bet’u-k’oƛa boqno. ⇫ ¶

Right when he escaped from his father's side, a big ram became out of the boy and began gallopping in front of the father.

Как только отец отдалился, он превратился в барана и начал перед ним резвиться.

59025. Xizyo babiwn oqno ža biqiranixƛin. ⇫ ¶

Then the father began [trying] to catch him.

Тогда отец пытался его поймать.

59026. Dicegon xizay k’oƛi-c’oxłin, babiwq ža miƛ’i biqinanu. ⇫ ¶

How much he ran behind him, the father could not get that ram.

Сколько бы отец ни бегал за ним, не смог поймать того барана.

59027. Zamanałäza nesił xizay oƛäxru užiqor babiw aƛ’in, mi na zowä, dice ixiw miƛ’i zowä ent’o bet’u-k’oƛix, didurnokin däq ža sisxoli oqzaƛ’ biqinč’u, mi sadaq zows yołi q’ˤunqon sadaq biqas ža łemu. ⇫ ¶

After some time, the father talked to the boy who appeared behind him: "Where have you been? How big was this ram? It was gallopping here and because I was alone, I couldn't get in in any way, so if we are together, then we two will get it together."

Через некоторое время, когда появился сын, он начал его ругать: «Где ты был? Такой большой баран здесь резвился, мне одному никак не удалось его поймать, если бы ты был, мы вдвоем вместе поймали бы его».

59028. Užä eƛin, baba, elur caxinč’iru šebin riqa zaħmataw ričixosi yoł. ⇫ ¶

The boy said: "Father, it is difficult to get a thing that is not destined for us."

Сын сказал: «Отец, то, что нам не суждено, трудно поймать».

59029. K’ox äƛirugon užiłäy mesedyos šilabi yołäsi miƛ’i boqno. ⇫ ¶

For the second time, the boy became a ram with golden horns.

Во второй раз сын превратился в барана с золотыми рогами.

59030. Babiwq žan biqira k’ʷeze boqnoanu. ⇫ ¶

The father couldn't catch him either.

Отец его тоже не смог поймать.

59031. Xizyo xizaza uži aynosi, babiw hemedurtow žaqor aƛ’in. ⇫ ¶

Then, when the boy came from behind, the father said the same to his son.

Когда сын подошел, отец опять его отругал.

59032. Užä wˤałerno utin eƛin, baba, deber caxinč’iru šebin riqa zaħmataw ričixosi yoł. ⇫ ¶

The son bowed downward and said: "Father, it is difficult to get a thing that is not destined for us."

Сын опустил голову и сказал: «Отец, то, что тебе не суждено, трудно достать».

59033. Łox äƛirugon užiłäy mesedyos ƛ’ili-muži yołäsi gulu boqno. ⇫ ¶

The third time, the boy became a horse with a golden saddle.

На третий раз сын превратился в коня с золотым седлом.

59034. Babiwł adäzarno boqno hemedurtow k’oƛi-c’oxxo zown gulu. ⇫ ¶

The horse came in front of the father and was running likewise.

Конь также бегал перед отцом туда-сюда.

59035. Igza ħalał žan akik’no, gulu biqa bičin. ⇫ ¶

The horse tired him well, and then let him catch itself.

Он сильно устал и дал ему поймать себя.

59036. Howži ʕuraw mixƛ’or ezun ičin babiw uži ayxanaƛin. ⇫ ¶

Now, after much time, the father was looking why his son didn't came.

Теперь отец долго ждал, не идет ли сын.

59037. Xizaɣor ža ayaniqaysi rok’un roč’iłno, guluƛ’no zown iduɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

Finally he lost hope that he would come, and rode home on the horse.

В конце концов, потерял надежду, что он придет, сел на коня и поехал домой.

59038. Rečuƛ gulun bicin, žaqor ezun ičin, ayxana yeda žigonƛin. ⇫ ¶

He tied the horse to the cattle-shed and waited for his son: "Why isn't he coming again now?"

Привязал в хлеву коня и ждал сына, не идет ли он.

59039. Xizyo neła gulułäy yałru užin oqno, babiwdäɣor ik’in. ⇫ ¶

Afterwards, that horse became the boy that it used to be again and went to his father.

Затем конь превратился в юношу и пошел к отцу.

59040. ʕUraw ɣˤaɣˤun izin esixƛax babiya nesiq, mesedyos ƛ’ili-muži yołäsi gulu biqis däq, rečuƛ teł bišäsi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

The father got very happy telling him: "I caught a horse with a golden saddle; it's eating inside the shed."

Отец очень радостный рассказывает ему: «Я поймал коня с золотым седлом, он сейчас в хлеву».

59041. Užä eƛin, ƛa boqzaƛ’ beza bik’an nełaƛ’ƛin. ⇫ ¶

The boy said: "Let's go, if it is, we'll look at it!"

Сын сказал: «Тогда пойдем, посмотрим на него».

59042. Howži mix bik’äsi zaman yoł, sasaq bukaran ža debeq diƛin, babiya eƛin. ⇫ ¶

"Now it's late, tomorrow I will show it to you.", said the father.

«Сейчас время позднее, завтра я тебе его покажу», - сказал отец.

59043. Sasaqosi babiya uži rečuƛer ižin, ƛa guluƛ’ beza bik’ixƛin. ⇫ ¶

In the morning, the father lead the son to the cattle-shed: "Let's go, we go to look at the horse!"

Утром отец взял сына в хлев: «Пойдем, посмотрим на коня».

59044. Rečuƛer yizi bik’inosi, anuƛax elo gulu. ⇫ ¶

When they went to the shed, the horse wasn't there.

Когда пришли в хлев, коня там не нашли.

59045. Hemełƛ’o xizyo žoyä babiwq esin, ža miƛ’in di zows, gulun di zows, hemediw hunar yoł däz lagiłƛin. ⇫ ¶

After that, the boy told his father: "That ram was me; and the horse was me; such a talent is in my body."

Вот тогда сын рассказал отцу: «Тот баран был я, конь тоже был я, вот такие у меня есть способности.

59046. Xizyo yisä eƛin, sasaq di łinaqnokin biħu-boqxanuzo yorɣa guluƛ’or utan. ⇫ ¶

Then he said: "Tomorrow I will turn into an amble horse that cannot be retained whatsoever.

Завтра я превращусь в коня-иноходца, которого никак нельзя будет удержать.

59047. Mi ža bazaryaɣorno bižin łera ʕazara ɣˤurušyoƛ teƛ, moƛ’oqˤoy yołi łeno bišom ɣˤuruš neƛłikin täƛno, dey ruħ nełał bičixosi yoł, nagaħ mi ža teƛnäy, di exuxosi yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

Lead it to the market and sell it for 5,000 rubles, the bridle however don't sell even if you were given 500 rubles, my soul will be inside; if you sell it, I will die."

Ты возьми его на рынок и продай за пять тысяч рублей, а уздечку не продавай даже за пятьсот рублей, в ней мой дух, если ты ее продашь, я умру».

59048. Hemeła quł Okur čuqˤno, yisi užä nesiqay ʕilmu yiqärułi. ⇫ ¶

That day, Oku noticed that the boy took away the science from him.

В тот день Оку понял, что юноша получил от него знания.

59049. Žas babiw gulun bižin bazaryaɣor äk’irun, Okä ayn esirno nesiq, yedu gulu teƛxosi ana, šebi yiłas bahaƛin. ⇫ ¶

Just as the boy's father had lead the horse to the market, Oku came and asked him: "Won't you sell this horse, what is its price?"

Когда отец юноши с конем пошел на базар, Оку подошел и спросил его: «Не продаешь ли этого коня, сколько он стоит?»

59050. Babiya eƛin, moƛ’oqˤoy anusi gulus baha łeno ʕazar ɣuruš yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

The father said: "The price of the horse without the bridle is 5,000 rubles."

Отец сказал: «Цена коня без уздечки пять тысяч рублей».

59051. Waħƛin, eƛin Okä, moƛ’oqˤoy sadaq anusi gulu teƛxosi moči žäd där bukadäsi zownč’u, moƛ’oqˤoyn neƛa rayƛin. ⇫ ¶

"Whoa!", said Oku, "I haven't seen a place yet that sold a horse without the bridle; you must sell the bridle too!"

«Удивительно, - сказал Оку, - я еще не видел коня, которого продавали бы без уздечки, уздечку тоже нужно продать».

59052. Nedur resunäyƛin, eƛin babiya, moƛ’oqˤoys baha łeno bišom ɣˤuruš yołƛin. ⇫ ¶

"If that's the case," said the father, "the bridle's price is 500 rubles."

«В таком случае, - сказал отец, - уздечка стоит пятьсот рублей».

59053. Hemedur Okä babiw mak’ur odin guludetow sadaq moƛ’oqˤoyn łera ʕazara łera bišomra ɣˤurušyoƛ teƛanix, dicegon užä moƛ’oqˤoy täƛnoƛin eƛinłin. ⇫ ¶

So Oku persuaded the father to sell him the horse together with the bridle for 5,500 rubles, no matter how much the boy told him not to sell the bridle.

Таким образом, Оку уговорил отца продать уздечку вместе с конем за пять тысяч пятьсот рублей, хотя сын просил отца не продавать уздечку.

59054. Neła guluƛ’no zown, waħazoni dunyalƛ’o idur aynosi, Okä kidbeqor maħlazaytow qˤaƛin, xexłiƛ’ bˤałay maħor roƛik’ gulu bexada retinƛin. ⇫ ¶

He rode home on that horse and when he came home into the underworld, Oku shouted to his daughter from the court: "Quick, get the dagger outside, I wanted to slaughter a horse!"

Оку сел на того коня, поскакал на нижний свет и приехал домой, со двора же крикнул дочери: «Скорее вынеси кинжал на улицу, хочу зарезать коня».

59055. Kidber riyn nełaz babiwł adäza t’et’erxo zawruni užiłäy gulu baqrułi. ⇫ ¶

His daughter knew that the horse used to be the boy, who learned in front of her father.

Дочь догадалась, что это тот мальчик, который обучался у ее отца, превратился в коня.

59056. Q’ˤunader recurno c’idaɣor žan kurno, där bˤäłay resuxanuƛin neła babiwqor qˤaƛin. ⇫ ¶

She broke it into two, threw it into the fire and shouted to her father: "I don't find the dagger!"

Разломала кинжал на две части, выбросила в огонь и крикнула отцу: «Я не могу найти кинжал».

59057. Babiya qˤaƛin, bˤałay ditow k’edan, enda gulu biqira horo miƛin. ⇫ ¶

The father shouted: "I'll search the dagger, you come here to hold the horse!"

Отец крикнул: «Я сам найду кинжал, ты иди сюда, чтобы держать коня».

59058. Tełxor yeda äk’iruntow, gulu begirnon xecin kidbä, xizyo qˤaƛin babiwqor, gulu boxin bik’isƛin. ⇫ ¶

Right after he went inside, the girl let the horse go and then shouted to her father: "The horse has run away!"

Как только он зашел внутрь, девушка отпустила коня, затем крикнула отцу: «Конь убежал!»

59059. Maħor k’aƛirun, yisir bukayn gulu t’umiƛ’orno butin boržizi boqno hawaƛ’ boxix. ⇫ ¶

As soon as he ran outside, he saw the horse had turned into a pigeon and was flying away in the air.

Оку выскочил на улицу и увидел, как конь превратился в голубя и улетел.

59060. Kurzak’uƛ’orgon Okun utin, nełał xizay k’oƛin. ⇫ ¶

And Oku turned into a falcon and followed it.

Тога Оку превратился в ястреба и полетел за ним.

59061. Q’ˤimzo ʕaƛar ža t’umi baynosi, akä q’ˤida yäčiru sida kidbez koyä heqno. ⇫ ¶
